Kia Mistilis is an independent Australian journalist, editor and photographer currently based in Europe. Since her first published story in 2006, Kia has contributed to a range of mainstream and independent print & online news media. Writing brings a new dimension to Kia's photo-journalism and her experience in documenting people and places as diverse as New York city and the villages of East Timor.
